Piano lessons for beginners who are over ten, or for students who have already been taking lessons, will generally be with Heather.

Heather has Associate diplomas with the Royal Conservatory of Music as a Piano Teacher and as a Piano Performer, and has been teaching piano for FORTY years.  Since becoming a singing teacher she has kept very busy as an accompanist for her private students as well as being the pianist for most of the broadway musicals put on in Maple Creek.

Heather would love to help motivated students reach towards their goals!  If you take lessons from Heather, your family must commit to keeping piano a part of daily life.  After the first beginner year, students must take a Royal Conservatory piano exam each year to make sure that they are continuing to progress. 

All new piano students will start with a trial month (4 weekly lessons, $100 total) with a parent attending the beginning of the first lesson and the end of the last one.  This gives us both a chance to decide whether to commit to a longer-term piano relationship!
